FPAC At-A-Glance
- In order to earn your FPAC Certification, you must meet certain work and/or education requirements in addition to meeting the two exam requirements. However, a candidate can submit their application to the FP&A program prior to meeting the full requirements as long as the entrance requirements have been met.
- When submitting your application, you must choose a testing window for each exam part - either February/March or August/September. Please be sure to check the deadlines and fees page for more information regarding testing windows.
- The FPAC Exam is a two-part examination. Part I has 140 questions, Part II has 55 questions.
- A detailed breakdown of testing time and types of questions can be found here.
- To see an outline of the knowledge, skills, and abilities that will appear on each exam part, please visit our Test Specifications page.
- Exam parts may be taken in any order, separately or together, for any day or time within the 60 day window.
The Exam Part I requirement can be met by passing the exam or being approved for an Exam Part I waiver. The Exam Part II requirement can only be met by passing the Part II exam.
Candidates who hold one of the following credentials in good standing may choose to meet the Exam Part I requirement by applying for a Exam Part I waiver. More information about the Exam Part I waiver can be found here.
